libc6-dbg-powerpc-cross software package provides Embedded GNU C Library: detached debugging symbols (for cross-compiling), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libc6-dbg-powerpc-cross
libc6-dbg-powerpc-cross is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libc6-dbg-powerpc-cross package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libc6-dbg-powerpc-cross *
You will get with libc6-dbg-powerpc-cross package name, version, architecture and description in a table
